Jeb Cui is a senior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. He has a passion for science and mathematics. Jeb can be found in his school’s Math Team, Computer Team, and Physics Team, and he has attended numerous meetings and guest lectured for the Biology Olympiad club. He loves teaching children and getting them excited about STEM, and on weekends, he enjoys teaching computer science to middle school students in his community. Outside of academics, he has participated in his school’s cross country team and track and field team. By teaching, Jeb hopes to inspire the next generation of STEM students.

Jayashree Ezhilarasu is currently a rising senior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. Jaya is the president of her school's biotechnology club and hopes to do biotechnology research in the future. In her free time, she volunteers to tutor elementary schoolers in math and science. Outside of academics, she enjoys running and has participated in her school's cross country team. Jaya wishes to spread her passion for biology and help younger students spark interests in the STEM field.

Diya Dinesh is a Senior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She is passionate about Computer Science, Neuroscience, and Psychology, and is very interested in finding a bridge between these fields. Kyra has a passion for biology and other aspects of science, which has motivated her to lead her school's Biology Olympiad club and intern for the Gains in the Education of Mathematics and Science program. Outside of academics, she enjoys playing tennis, and is on her school’s varsity tennis team. Kyra has a strong interest in helping others improve their lives, and has developed a project to help people work towards a healthier lifestyle. She is excited that her knowledge and passion will be used to help younger students discover their interest in biology.

Keertana Yalamanchili is a senior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology. She is passionate about the intersection between biology and mathematics, and is developing a computational model for mPTP behavior at the moment. She is currently co-captain of Psychology Society and subject coordinator of TJ Peer Tutoring. She also actively attends Medical Society, Neuroscience Society, and Biology Olympiad meetings at her school. In her spare time, she enjoys singing and dancing, playing the violin, reading books, and tutoring.

She has a creative side too; she’s passionate about piano and enjoys working with many art mediums! Her hard work and friendliness have gotten her wherever she needs to be. She’s always open to talk to anyone with similar interests and is free to answer any questions!

Akash Jagdeesh is a senior at TJHSST. His primary academic interests include molecular and cellular biology, as well as biochemistry, with the ultimate goal of pursuing medicine. Outside of school, he plays basketball for TJHSST and likes watching sports. He enjoys teaching students about subjects he is passionate about, including cardiology and cancer. He came across GENErationZ while searching for opportunities to expand his efforts and play a greater role in educating young learners in his community. She has a strong interest in improving the mental health of her community and serves as the President of TJ Send-a-Smile. Her zeal and energy couple towards her passion for biology, which has motivated her to also lead TJ’s Biology Olympiad club. When she’s not dedicating her time towards these activities, she can be found engaging younger children in STEM through TJ KAST and teaching Quran and Arabic calligraphy at her local mosque.

Marina Wang is a rising junior at TJHSST. She loves biology and psychology. She enjoys teaching biology and inspiring a passion for it to those in her community. She taught biology to other students at her local Chinese school, and frequently participates in STEM volunteering for kids. She is a semifinalist for USABO (USA Biology Olympiad). Aside from biology, she has a lifeguard certification and works at her neighborhood pool. In her free time, she loves to figure skate, read and write stories, and bake.

Elena Rangelov

Web Developer

Elena is a rising junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She loves computer coding and is an officer for her girls’ coding club at school, and she's a member of various women empowerment organizations such as Built By Girls and Women Who Code. Elena is also a part of many environmental justice groups and is working to help our environment 24/7, as well as working with LGBTQ+ support groups like Casa Ruby and SMYAL. She has a creative side too; she’s passionate about piano and enjoys working with many art mediums! Her hard work and friendliness have gotten her wherever she needs to be. She’s always open to talk to anyone with similar interests and is free to answer any questions!

Hasita Ravula

Director of Outreach

Hasita Ravula is a rising junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. Hasita can be found in her school’s Students vs. Cancer (Relay for Life) club and Tomorrow’s Women in Science and Technology club. In addition to this, she participates in dance outside of school. Hasita has a great interest in biology and is very excited to help other students explore their passion for biology.

Marina Wang

Director of Outreach

Marina Wang is a rising junior at TJHSST. She loves biology and psychology. She enjoys teaching biology and inspiring a passion for it to those in her community. She taught biology to other students at her local Chinese school, and frequently participates in STEM volunteering for kids. She is a semifinalist for USABO (USA Biology Olympiad). Aside from biology, she has a lifeguard certification and works at her neighborhood pool. In her free time, she loves to figure skate, read and write stories, and bake.

Jeb Cui

Jeb Cui is a rising Junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. He has a passion for science and mathematics. Jeb can be found in his school’s Math Team, Intermediate Computer Team, and Physics Team, and he has attended numerous meetings and guest lectured for the Biology Olympiad club. He loves teaching children and getting them excited about STEM, and on weekends, he enjoys teaching computer science to younger students at his local Chinese school. Outside of academics, he has participated in his school’s cross country team and track and field team.

Kyra Li

Kyra Li is currently a rising junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. Kyra is an active member of her school’s Biology Olympiad, media, and Future Problem Solvers clubs. Outside of academics, she enjoys playing tennis, and is on her school’s tennis team. Kyra has a strong interest in helping others improve their lives, and has started a project to help people work towards a healthier lifestyle. She also has a passion for biology, and is excited that her knowledge will be used to help younger students discover their interest in biology.

Aneri Shah

Aneri Shah is a rising junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She is a member of clubs such as Microbiology club, Future Problem Solvers club, Art club, Codi’s hats, and Japanese Culture club. She also enjoys tutoring students and organizing volunteer opportunities. Aneri loves learning biology and computer science, and wants to teach kids about them. On the weekends, she is a teacher’s assistant at a local Jain school. She plays piano, reads, and dances in her free time.

Keertana Yalamanchili

Keertana Yalamanchili is a rising junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology. She is passionate about biology and mathematics. She actively attends Medical Society, Neuroscience Society, and Biology Olympiad meetings. She is currently the secretary of the Medical Society and Neuroscience Society, and subject coordinator of TJ Peer Tutoring. In her spare time, she enjoys singing and dancing, playing the violin, reading books, and tutoring.

Diya Dinesh

Diya is a rising Junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She is passionate about Computer Science, Neuroscience, and Psychology, and is very interested in finding a bridge between these fields. She takes part in clubs such as Mind Body Medicine Society, Future Problem Solving, Coding Lady Colonials, and Namaste. Outside school, she also follows her passions by tutoring communities. When she isn't immersed in the STEM field, you can find her working on her art or music.

Jayashree Ezhilarasu

Jayashree Ezhilarasu is currently a rising junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. Jaya is the activities coordinator at her school's biotechnology club and is also an active member of her school's Ocean Bowl. Outside of academics, she enjoys running and has participated in her school's cross country team. Jaya wishes to spread her passion for biology and help younger students spark interests in the STEM field.

Jessica Feng

Jessica Feng is currently a rising junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She has a passion for science and writing; participating in Cancer Research Society, Future Problem Solvers, and journalism. In addition to academics, Jessica enjoys ice hockey, golf, and soccer. She's excited to teach kids and utilize her enthusiasm to help them find their own passion.

Medha Gaddam

Medha is a rising junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She has a deep interest in medicine and is a passionate performing artist with training in singing and dance. She has a strong interest in biology and seeks to further her knowledge as a member of TJ's chemistry team, biology society, and neuroscience society - she is also a semifinalist in USA Biology Olympiad. She loves spending time with children and is a lead volunteer in organizations such as KAST and Homework Helpers. In her free time, she can be found reading, playing the violin, and writing poetry!

Bhavya Guduru

Bhavya is a rising junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She is a member of her school's yearbook, Future Problem Solving, and WISE clubs, as well as an Biology Olympiad officer. Outside of academics, she enjoys playing soccer for her school team. Bhavya has a deep interest for biology and is excited to help other students discover their passion for biology.

Suchita Hadimani

Suchita Hadimani is a rising junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She loves biology and can often be found in clubs such as Neuroscience Society and Bioinformatics. She enjoys working with students and encouraging them to pursue STEM. She has participated in many tutoring programs such as Spreading the Gift of Learning and WISE. Beyond biology, she also enjoys drawing, baking, and crocheting. Suchita is excited to combine her two favorite things, biology and tutoring, through GENEration Z!

Sanjay Jacob

Sanjay Jacob is a rising junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. He is an active member of the Mock Trial and LaunchX clubs (for which he has received awards on a global level), and also is a member of the school lacrosse team. He has been tutoring others for over two years now, and has a passion for the subject of biology and giving back to the community, and hopes to help other realize their passion for biology as a tutor here.

Elaine is a junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She is interested in biology and has taken/is taking many biology courses including AP Biology, Neurobiology, and DNA Science. She also is a part of the Biology Olympiad club at her school. Elaine Li is a rising junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She is a part of her school's media and urban dance clubs, and also participates in LIFE, a club where they teach science concepts to local elementary school students. She has a passion for biology, and is going to be taking Marine Biology this fall! Outside of school, Elaine plays piano and has expressed interest in opening a small business to show her creative side to the world!

Isaac Lin

Isaac goes to TJ. He does biology olympiad and chemistry olympiad. He placed top 50 in the US for USABO semifinals and was top 20 in the school for USNCO. In his free time he plays for TJ tennis as well as video games.

Anjali Pagidi

Anjali Pagidi is a rising junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Tech. She is passionate about biology and DNA science. Anjali is an active member of Teknos, her school's science writing club as well as the Environmental Impact Club. She is a member of her school's Coding Lady Colonials club and the Biotechnology club. She also loves coding and teaches computer science. Outside of school, her hobbies include dancing and reading.
